Fixing Cataire Screening
All kits come complete with three alternative fixing methods.

Self-adhesive Velcro. With this method a small amount of Velcro is used in the four corners of the screen. It is very successful and particularly good for UPVC frames because the guarantee on the windows is not compromised. It is also good for use on metal-framed windows.

Turn-buttons. This method involves screwing into the window frames and is an alternative to the Velcro method.

Channels. This method is provided as one way of overcoming the problem of window catches and bottom stays that protrude in front of the window frame. A white plastic channel is fitted to the window board at the bottom and to the beam at the top. They are set at an angle so that they clear the catch or stay. We do offer other ways of overcoming the problem in our assembly instructions using the Velcro or Turn-button method.
